About Me

Hi, I'm Justiz. :) (pronounced: 'Justice') I am highschool student studying Creative Media Production in the Philippines. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

As mentioned in my first blogpost, I initially found Bearblog in 2024, but only in 2026 during a relatively low period in my life did I find the motivation to continue reading blogs (instead of doomscrolling through social media.) I made this blog for the purpose of being more "in touch" with myself, I want to ground my emotions and post about the things I enjoy. And hopefully, make someone's day with the stuff I write!

I have many varying interests, from different forms of art, to anything tech-related. I have a fascination with self-hosting, FOSS, and the Linux OS and its various distributions. 1 I am quite interested in old websites and games from the early days of the internet.

Alongside Bearblog, I also frequently lurk on forums like Melonland, 32bit Cafe, and more. Though I don't post on forums all that much, I do enjoy reading through dedicated topics, and I found myself learning more and taking up new hobbies due to this!

Fun Facts About Me

What you'll find here

I like to write about topics I find interesting. In the real world, I often have a lot to say, so I want to relegate a lot of my thoughts to somewhere where I can go back to it every time, instead of talking someone's ear off.

You may find my opinions on current events, but what I might commonly post is introspective journal-like posts about my life and anything adjacent to that. I struggle with Dysthymia (Persistent Depressive Disorder) and Derealization, and it has affected my life in various ways. So, writing reflective pieces both serve as a way of introspection, and also to see how much I've grown as a person.

And obviously, I like to write about positive things! The world is so negative as-is already, and I'd rather not add to that. So other than talking about my own experiences with mental health, I want to focus more on my recovery and the life around me. So if that's your cup of tea, please, feel free to stick around! _

  1. My laptop runs on Ubuntu! I just switched a couple months ago, and so far my experience has been very pleasant. I plan to distro hop to Debian soon enough. I might write about my experience using Linux soon!

  2. Or making a separate blog? I have no clear game plan, but this is definitely something I want to work on.

  3. eng: I'm trying to learn my native language, so that I can be good at it and get used to my language and communication skills.
