My Lifestyle Improvements πŸŒ™πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ.. and Other Fun Things!

After checking through my native sleep tracker, I've noticed that my sleep schedule has gotten a lot better over the past few days :-). Nothing too short of 8 hours, sometimes brushing past or below, but not too drastic to the point of concern.

I'm quite proud of myself! I used to have a habit of staying up late (at around 2 AM or so), especially during the weekend. So sleeping at around 11 PM is a major improvement for me :-). My body clock has also adjusted accordingly, usually waking me up at 8 AM (I even woke up at 8 am today! And its a weekend! )

Aside from that, I've also been walking a lot more. I try to reach my daily quota of steps even though I'm at home. I used to never go past 500 steps on my laziest days, but now I'm regularly going over 2,000! I'm very proud of myself and my improvement.

Overall, I want to make it a habit of exercising more and practicing sleep rituals. I prefer reading fiction books before going to bed, and it usually does the job of making me very sleepy. I've been somewhat neglecting my hygeine lately because of how much workload I've been given, but I want to change that! After getting home school, I've made it a point to regularly wash my face and brush my teeth. It definitely does more wonders than the usual bed rotting straight from school.

I've been feeling particularly demotivated recently, and found myself pushing my goals and personal interests on the backburner for mindless scrolling. I kept telling myself I would 'be able to do [x] during the summer', but whats the harm in trying to do it now? I think growth requires dedicated constant effort. I want to try small, simple steps.

Other fun things I did last week:

So far, the week has been relatively good! There were some complications that happened during the week, which definitely soured what was a very beautiful start (Sunday-Monday), but I choose to look past that and highlight the good portions of the week.

(The bad portions, I'll probably write them down in a private journal.)

That's all I wanted to talk about! I guess this blogpost was more or less focused on being a "week-in-overview", but I really enjoyed writing down my experiences here.

Thank you for reading! β˜•οΈ
